Preparation

So I arrived well at Marina. We used the Monday for some water and Coke shopping. It is not so easy to finde the right amount of water/beer/wine/coke. How much water will you drink in 30 days? So we decided to go for 300 litre of drinking water. Additional we have water in the tanks, which doesn’t taste so well. Then we have 150 cans of beer. 120 cans of coke (for coke/rum) and tomorrow we will get the wine. So the evenings should be covered with alcoholic drinks. Tomorrow we will get the rest of the food. We count on many fishes to catch. Let’s see if we succeed on that.

To store everything on a little boat is also quite tricky. In every little corner you find some can of something. And not to loose the overview Klaus makes a list. Haha … I am pretty sure in the Caribbeans we will find some cans we totally forgot about.

Today was a very good leaving weather. Many boats around us left the harbor and went for the big crossing. The forecast for Wednesday looks ok, but on Thursday it will be rougher, as you can see in the picture. On Friday it even might get stormy. So I am not sure what the others think, but I like the idea of leaving as soon as possible. After a few days we will be in the Trade Winds and won’t worry about stormy weather anymore. At least not that much. Tomorrow RĂ¼diger will join and we will get everything ready to take off.
