My Home For 6 Weeks
This will be me home for the next six weeks. 11.5 meters to cross the Atlantic. In nine days the journey will start and I cannot wait for it! The little room after the salon will be my place.

One Month Left

Current Position
I’m not totally sure yet. But it seams that I can publish the current position of the boat on my blog. Currently it works like a charm but that might be due to the fact that the boat is in range of a marina. Once on the open water it most likely won’t work.

Planned Route
It’s not totally fixed, but currently we plan to sail from Lanzarote down towards Cape Verde with the final destination at Grenada. In total it’s a distance of 3,100 nautic miles. On the subpage I updated more detailed information.
It’s getting real
The adventure to cross the Atlantic by sailing boat is getting real. After some intensive search I found two guys who invited me to sail this leg together. The whole trip will start at the end of November this year. I can’t wait. The boat is a Beneteau Oceanis 381 (11,8 meters).
